Unfortunately I've been feeling under the weather the last couple of days so I had a pretty lazy weekend. Luckily, I have an equally lazy puppy who likes to sleep in to 11:30 - noon. Seriously this little guy likes his sleep. I have to drag him out of bed on weekdays so I can take him outside and feed him before going to work. He also likes major cuddles as I often wake up to him lying across my neck, chest or face....that or he's trying to suffocate me in my sleep.
Although I did next to nothing this weekend, I did get to pick up Arthur's new Babies & Beasts jacket on Saturday, which couldn't have come at a more perfect time -- it's getting colder yo! There have been a few mornings where Arthur has stood outside shivering because his knitted sweater doesn't keep him warm enough.
Any bulldog owner knows that it's very difficult finding winter wear for their pooch as standard dog sizing doesn't account for their short bodies and chest girth. Being so low to the ground and having a really short coat makes Arthur an easy target for the evil jack frost and wearing a jacket a must.
Thankfully, one French Bulldog owner (well she owns two. Pepper and Tank, they're adorable) decided to create a line of dog sweaters specifically to fit French and English Bulldogs. Now Arthur can stay warm during long walks and look uber stylish (and adorable) at the same time. I'm so impressed with how this jacket fits the little man that I may have to order one of the Babies & Beasts raincoats as Arthur loathes the rain.
Here's the little guy modeling his new winter wear.
Pretending to be coy
Not dead. Arthur likes to roll around on his back. That's actually his signature greeting when he meets people during his walk. His favourite places to roll are the carpet near the elevators in our condo and in the middle of crossing the street (I'm not a fan of that rolling spot).
Does anyone else winterize their pet or have difficulty finding clothes that fit your beloved furry friend?
Hope you had a great weekend
Alex & Arthur
