After forgetting my travel makeup bag at home yesterday, I thought I'd do a quick post of the essential items that are usually in my purse.  I took photos at a friends wedding shower yesterday, see sample below:

I had planned on doing my makeup in the car but unfortunately forgot to swap my makeup case from my purse to my camera bag.  I don't a full face everyday but I feel naked without my eyeliner, blush and lipstick.

I'm not a huge fan of Kat Von D as a person but I absolutely love her makeup.  That particular shade of lipstick is my favourite! It's much more red than the picture shows.  Also, if you want an eyeliner that never smudges, try her tattoo liner.   For insane, cartoon-like lashes, try the "Better Than False Lashes" system by Too Faced.  Most of my makeup is from Too Faced or Urban Decay (I use Nirvana cream to powder foundation from them).   The things listed are my essentials, I use other items like eyeshadow but the shades change or sometimes I go without.

Is there any makeup product that you absolutely have to wear or you don't feel like yourself?
