Yesterday Dan and I went to see How to Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular and man was it ever spectatcular!
How to Train Your Dragon is one of my favourite animated movies. I love the song Sticks & Stones which Jonsi wrote for the soundtrack and Toothless reminds me of a dragon version of Arthur. I'm certain the animators used a French Bulldog for reference. Toothless waddles similiar to Arthur and even makes some of the same noises.

Here they are side by side |
A few years ago I saw Walking with the Dinosaurs and loved it! (When I was younger I wanted to be a paleontologist but then I realized I hate dirt and heat) The detail that goes into these animatronic creatures is incredible. *Embarassing fact, when I went to see Walking with the Dinosaurs even though I KNEW the T-Rex wasn't real I still shrunk in my seat when it roared. We were close, it was huge, loud, and the eyes were looking right at me.*
Here are some pictures I took with my iphone at yesterday's show. I apologize for the iphone quality...we also couldn't use flash.
The Toothless 'robot' had blinking eyes and wiggling ears
Another bonus at How to Train Your Dragon Live was the amount of Jonsi music they used throughout the show. Practicially the entire show soundtrack was from his album Go.
