A few years ago I couldn't figure out what to buy my brother for Christmas. I had purchased a bunch of little gifts but hadn't figured out the main one. I finally found this pretty neat Transformers USB key, that actually transformed, but unfortunately didn't discover it until December 23rd. I let my brother know that his big gift was going to be late, because even if I purchased expedited shipping it wouldn't arrive until December 29th. I didn't bother going with expedited shipping because it was going to be late anyways, what did a few extra days matter? I can't even begin to describe how shocked I was when my purchases arrived the next day. I'm not exactly sure where the ThinkGeek shipping warehouse is located (I should with the number of things I've purchased) but I know that it's in the US. They must have magical shipping elves or Santa himself working for them.
I'm a little lost with how I want to highlight this wonderful site, so I thought I'd just post a few items that I'm considering purchasing, whether it be for myself or a gift.
1. Tetris Stackable LED Desk Lamp
I saw this lamp featured on, Firebox.com, a UK store however, I soon found out that they didn't ship to North America. I immediately thought, "no worries, ThinkGeek will have it soon!" and sure enough...
Unfortunately it's sold out right now, but I can wait. This will be a gift for me.
2. Adventure Time Footie Suits
I just think it would be fun if Dan and I had matching footie pajamas. Don't know if I'll actually buy them, but I'm seriously thinking about it.
3. iPad Clutch
My mom just got an iPad and I think she'd really appreciate this handy clutch. Plus she loves red.
4. Dalek Bathrobe
HA! Can't stop laughing at this picture. Pretty cool bathrobe for that Doctor Who lover in your life...even though Dalek's are the assholes of space.
Definitely take a gander at the site -- there really is something for everyone.
Alex & Arthur
I love everything on this list! I'd rather have Gunter footy pajamas. Do they have those? ^_^
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately no :( But that's something they should look into --- especially ones that fit doggies.
DeleteI think you should definitely get the pajamas, they would be so snuggly and warm. Do they come in Arthur size? How cute would that be!

Oh man, I wish they had adventure time costumes for doggies. I still need to find Arthur some cute PJs.
DeleteOH MY GOD, THANK YOU. I went onto the ThinkGeek site and I'm ordering 4 things so far for broseph / husband.
ReplyDeleteSweet.
Awesome! It makes shopping for boys so easy. I'm so glad you were able to find gifts.
