A Mess of Photos

I was going through my old laptop looking for a file and I came across some photos and tests I did in my fourth year photography class.

I used to create characters based on found items to explore the idea of the family dynamic.  A lot of my costumes came from Value Village but I found items in many different locations.

The photo directly above and below were taken at my grandparents house.  I used to take a lot of my photos at my grandparents house because it's amazing.

On more than one occasion I'd lose focus of my project and just wander around taking pictures of the various rooms at their house.  Even with all the exploring I know there are treasures in there that I've never seen.  The last time I was in their storage space I found an old Super 8 camera and projector.  It was still in the original packaging in near perfect condition.

This cabinet is full of Pyrex

A PINK BATHROOM!

Like the movie Grandma's Boy, this kitchen does not contain a microwave

This record player is always set up like that, complete with old Shari Lewis album

This is my grandmother's painting room.  She paints on china, which means she has a kiln in her basement.  I love their house.

It's my mission to spend one Saturday going through their storage space with my grandmother.  Not only will I get to see some cool vintage items but she also has amazing stories to go with everything.
