Pygmy Hippos

Since you've all met my little Arthur, I thought I'd introduce your to my other animal child...well children. 

Meet the Toronto Zoo pygmy hippos.  I've been adopting them annually for the past six years.

I know a lot about pygmy hippos but not much about the ones at the Toronto Zoo (other than I love sitting at their habitat), because the zoo kind of sucks at posting information.  I know that the female's name is Abou and she recently had a baby.  I don't know if the baby is okay because, as I said, the zoo sucks at posting info.

I'm hoping the baby is okay and will be on display soon because pygmy hippo babies are pretty much the cutest things ever.

The reason I decided to post about my pygmy hippo adopted children is because I received notification that it's time to renew my adoption.  I went to the website and the option to support the pygmy hippo is no longer there :( 

I'm going to email the zoo because I'd really like to continue to provide support and I hope they're not losing their hippos.
