LEAVES!!!!

Arthur is a really good puppy.  He rarely barks, only chews his toys, and does what he's told --- well, that's if there aren't any leaves around.  Arthur is crazy for leaves, to him leaves trump everything even food.  He'll be playing with other puppies at the off leash park (his second favourite activity) but will drop everything to chase leaves if there's a gust of wind.  I should start waving leaves in front of his face to train him instead of rewarding with treats.

In other exciting news, my new Cathrineholm teapot arrived today!! YAY!!

Cathrineholm + Alex = Love

I love vintage cookware be it Pyrex or Finel but my absolutely favourite is Cathrineholm.  They're from the 60's and 70's and yet the design looks so modern and don't get my started on the colours.  I'd love to add a red or yellow piece to my "collection."

I say "collection" because as of recently I've only been an admirer (check out the flickr group to see some truly beautiful pieces) but never actually ventured into purchasing any pieces.  Well that is no more my friend! I recently purchased several items and the first arrived today.  It's a blue lotus pattern casserole dish which I absolutely love (Arthur loves it too).  I can't wait to receive the other pieces in the mail and to further expand my Cathrineholm collection.
