I'm a big nerd. Not the biggest nerd on the face of the planet, but having grown up around boys I can certainly hold my own if a conversation drifts to comics, nostalgic cartoons or science fiction. While my boyfriend collects comics, I'm more into vintage or nerd-y inspired t-shirts (and art). In fact, I have so many that there's no more clothes space in our condo. I've had to store a bunch of t-shirts in our storage locker. There are quite a few sites that offer "limited edition t-shirts", which means for 24 hours the site will offer one shirt for a really good price. For example, you can buy that Luke Skywalker shirt (pictured in #1) from Shirt Punch today for $10.

The other amazing thing about sites like Red Bubble and Threadless is that you are exposed to some pretty talented illustrators. I'm dying over this Scott Weston Denver the Last Dinosaur drawing that I just found this morning, I must get! In case you're not familiar with Denver the Last Dinosaur, it was this pretty awesome cartoon from the late 80's. I owned several episodes on VHS and used to watch them all the time. This is my favourite episode.
I'm off to go watch some more Denver the Dinosaur on YouTube...or maybe Adventure Time. Alex & Arthur
